Mark J. Whittington, OD
Dr. Whittington graduated from Virginia Tech in 2009 with a degree in Biochemistry and completed his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2018. He is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometry Association and the West Virginia Optometric Association. He specializes in ocular disease, fitting of contact lenses and refractive surgery evaluations.
Jeffery L. Whittington, OD
Dr. Whittington is a graduate of West Virginia University and a graduate of The Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He has been in practice for over 29 years, is a member of the American Optometric Association, and past president of the West Virginia Optometric Association. Dr. Whittington specializes in the fitting of contact lenses, refractive surgery evaluations, and diseases of the eye.
Sandra H. Whittington, OD
Dr. Whittington is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. She has been in practice for over 28 years and is a member of the American Optometric Association and the West Virginia Optometric Association. Dr. Whittington specializes in Pediatric Optometry and Developmental Optometric Care.
Jennifer L. Stevens, OD
Dr. Stevens graduated from Virginia Tech in 2006 with a degree in Biochemistry and completed her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2010. She completed a residency in Ocular Disease at the Huntington, West Virginia Veterans Hospital through the University of Indiana School of Optometry in 2011. She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, and the West Virginia Optometric Association. She specializes in Geriatric Optometry, Ocular Disease, and Low Vision Services.
Kent K. Hall, OD
Dr. Hall is a graduate of West Virginia University and of the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He retired from the United States Air Force on 1 August 2005, at the rank of Major, serving 20 years and one month. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the West Virginia Optometric Association. Dr. Hall specializes in diseases of the eye, fitting of contact lenses and refractive surgery evaluations.

Reese, Certified Therapy Dog
Reese is a Certified Therapy Dog we are now offering to our patients. She has been trained to work especially well with people diagnosed with anxiety, post-traumatic stress syndrome and other special needs such as Autism or Down Syndrome. She also has completed her Canine Good Citizenship certification through the AKC. Her main duties include greeting patients, sitting next to patients in the exam room and resting her head on top of a patient’s leg or feet, providing slight pressure that can help ease anxiety. Reese is currently in office a couple days throughout the week and can be specifically requested for appointments.
